Why the loop has to be seamless
A wallpaper is the most punishing place to put a video, because you see it dozens of times a day and your eye learns the rhythm. Any hitch where the clip restarts becomes impossible to un-notice.
That is the specific problem this tool solves. The generated motion is mirrored back on itself, so the final frame is pixel-identical to the first. When the player wraps around there is nothing to see — no fade, no stutter, no jump.
Setting it as a wallpaper
On Android, most launchers and apps like Video Live Wallpaper accept an MP4 directly. On iPhone, convert the MP4 to a Live Photo with an app such as intoLive, then set it from Settings › Wallpaper and make sure Live Photo is switched on for the lock screen.
On Windows, Lively Wallpaper (free and open source) plays MP4s on the desktop. On macOS, apps like Plash or a video wallpaper utility do the same. On a TV or digital frame, just drop the file in and enable repeat.
Photos that make good moving wallpapers
Anything atmospheric: mountains under moving cloud, ocean and shoreline, rain against glass, a fog-filled forest, city lights at night, a fireplace, falling snow. Anime and illustrated art also animate nicely because the model can move the sky and effects without breaking faces.
Keep the subject away from the very edges if you can — phone wallpapers get cropped by clocks and widgets, and a centred composition survives that better.

- What resolution and length do I get?
- A 6-second 16:9 MP4. It loops cleanly, so a short clip is all you need — the file stays small enough not to drain battery the way a long video would.
- Will a moving wallpaper drain my battery?
- Animated wallpapers do use more power than a static image, but a short seamless loop is about as light as it gets: the file is small, it stays cached, and most phones pause it when the screen is off.
- Can I make a vertical phone wallpaper?
- The output is currently 16:9 landscape. For a phone you can crop it to portrait in any video editor, or use it as-is on a tablet, desktop or TV.
- Is there a watermark?
